I thought fine tuning of models is to inject app specific data in to the model, but i found out recently that this could be used to make a model work well in consumer grade devices by injecting information to make the model more aware of app's system prompt specific expected outcomes.

How should web look like given the existence of AI? AI is fundamentally different from every other tech we had before, yet we are evolving it in the same direction as others, which is AI will exist in cloud servers and we give all our life's data to it and still pay for its usage. AI has the power to make us independent and empowered, but money machines are driving us towards making us more dependent on them.

History is both complicated and simple. Simple because we can easily trace back the roots of current state of AI to all the way back to Alan Turing's Turing test in 1950. Complicated because several researchers have built technologies over time that has brought us to the current state of Large Language Models which is the cutting edge of Artificial Intelligence now in 2026.
